Jack is 4 Months

Oh Baby Boy! Stop Growing so fast!
Because of the move, he missed his 4 month appointment, but close to 5 months, he was 27 inches tall- 97% and 14 lbs 14 oz- 25%. He's gettin skinny!
He pretty much hates tummy time and won't even attempt to hold his head up for more than a few seconds. Drool gets on EVERYTHING!
He found a good friend in little snakey and he absolutely LOVES his knit blankets! He holds them up to his face and snuggles with them. It's so cute!
He had his first hairdo- the light is kind of in the way, but it was a "baby hawk"
And he found his toes!!! He LOVES his toes! He talks and coos all the time- he is so much fun to have around!

Kindergarten!

My Baby is so big!!! She started Kindergarten this year at Mountain View Elementary with Mrs. Strickler! She was so so excited to go! We were running a little late that morning and I told her she might be a little late for recess. She says "Mom, it's okay if we're late for recess, but I don't want to be late for the learning." She is so responsible and my sweet girl!
First day at her little desk!!
When I picked her up after class, she had a new backpack full of fun books to learn to read. She climbed in the car, took one out, and said "Well, I hope I can read this now!" Somehow she thought school was a magical place you walked into and knowledge just filled you up! She's so cute!

Family Time

Amidst all the construction going on around here, we've managed to fit a few moments of family time in. I've sure missed being with these babies!
Pirates!
Poor Jack in a pink jammie going to play at cousin Lincoln's house- my sisters were so wonderful to help with the kiddos as much as they could!
We even got to relax with Grammy a little bit- poor Grammy & Papa are in the thick of moving and remodeling their own new house!
Our first breakfast at our house remodeled- no table yet :)
First things first, let's get Dad's huge TV installed!
This ole dog is just as good as a couch- we LOVE our new carpet!

Happy 80th Papa Perry!!

Papa Perry turned 80 this year and we knew we had to make it big! So we all packed up and headed over to camp at the land in Redmond to be with him on his birthday! It was so much fun to be there with most of the family! The cousins just LOVED playing in the dirt!
Jack spent a lot of time in the pool
I got to finally love on little Chloe babes
Jack met Uncle Dave and they were fast friends!
We went to Cline Falls to do a little swimming and catch some crawdads!
Ellie learned the fine art of peeing in the river....
Evy learned the fine art of wearing a large diaper!
We had so much fun at the campfire, singing and watching skits and listening to stories and giving presents to Papa. It was wonderful!
Ellie got ready to meet some vampires...

We snuggled up close to stay warm!
Brook, Luke, Sienna, & Paisli started a band
Happy Birthday Papa Perry!!! We sure love you!
On the drive home, we stopped for some leg stretching in Burns, OR
Our daddy is so much fun ;)

Demolition Days

When we got back to our place, it was a little disheartening to see the damages done by our renters. But it did make our plans to basically gut the place feel a little more justified.

Goodbye nasty Pergo floors!
Cutting a hole in the wall for our new den double doors!

Framing in that den really took it out of these guys- they worked so hard!
Double Fistin it!
Thanks Harry! I've always hated that porch roof!
Relaxing with some Sonic during a hard days work!
Scraping ceilings was pretty fun!
A quick view of the bathroom added that remodel to our project
Also, check out that ceiling dust!
Goodbye nasty old bathroom fixtures!
Can you see the beautiful textured ceilings behind us! No more popcorn! Woohoo!
Yeah...we look a little white trash, but it sure saved Ben's aching back!
Getting ready to spray some paint!
Yeah... I probably needed a better mask.....
We are still in the thick of it, but it's been lots of fun so far!
