Memorial Day 2013

We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and healthy kids, so we got together with a few of our good friends here in Colorado in our neighborhood park. It was a really fun afternoon of visiting and playing!

Denver Bucket List: Coyote Song Trail

We have discovered that we really enjoy hiking as a family. Even Jack enjoys it- sleeping peacefully in his carseat in the bike trailer over all kinds of terrain. Last night we hiked the most beautiful trail just minutes from our house. We will definitely be taking more trips there over the next few months!

Brook's Preschool Graduation

Sam and Jenna watched Jack so we could go as a family to Brook's graduation. They performed songs and received their diplomas. Thy were all so adorable! We're proud of the little girl she is! She has many friends and makes new ones daily! She mastered the alphabet, has learned some simple math, and can write her first and last name. She rocks the crafts, memorizes and sings ALL the songs, and plays hard!

Denver Bucket List: Lair O The Bear Family Hike

Ben's clinical rotation has been awesome so far!! He's had so much more free time and even a couple days off! We are getting spoiled and feel like we are in heaven! We took advantage of the warm weather and the day off work and headed on a hike. Jack slept through the whole thing and Brook and Ellie led the way- walking the entire 2 mile loop. What troopers we have! We enjoyed a little picnic, a geocache, and some good old fashioned nature!

I have so many wonderful mother examples in my life!! Thank you to my own mother, my grandmothers, my mother in-law, my sisters, and my dear friends for being mothers I can look up to!!

My little family spoiled me with waffles in bed and a gift certificate for a massage! I also got to go hear Brook and Ellie sing for me while Ben watched Jack in the car. Then we had a wonderful dinner with Sam and Jenna and went for an evening stroll. I'm so lucky to be a mother!
