Denver Bucket List: Zoo Family Outing

Ben had Good Friday off of school! Hooray! After we set up Jack's room this morning, our good friends the Arnold's went to the zoo with us. We had a wonderful time and since the weather was so mild, the animals were all out roaming around. I'm so glad Ben finally got to come with us! After the zoo we got dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory- such a fun delicious way to end our day.
Three little penguins
This monkey was cracking a nut on the rock- it was hilarious!
Brook, Lincoln, and Ellie
And they still have a hard time hearing me :)

Easter Is Around The Corner

I'm glad it's getting to be spring!
I even did a craft to celebrate:
Best part? Totally free. I used paint sticks from Lowes & Ace and I had the paint on hand :)

Uncle Sam had a birthday! We celebrated at Rodizio's. Of course Brook helped eat his birthday flan. The necklace is from the girls as well :)
It was the day before St. Patty's Day, so we also caught some of the Denver parade...
don't waste your time!
It was Pie/Pi Day 3/14- we celebrated with Apple. And Pumpkin.
Had fun at the park in the sort of springy weather. Brook had an accident. And by accident, I mean she slipped in the mud. Though it looks like it could go either way :)
Daddy brought home fun school equipment! We played.
Couldn't resist these adorable little things for baby brother. Thank goodness for thrift stores!

Regis Scholarship Dinner

Ben earned a scholarship last year and the school had a Scholarship Recipient and Donor Thank You Dinner. It was at a really neat venue in Downtown Denver. It was so nice to get out without the kids and get to know some of Ben's classmates better and get to personally thank the wonderful lady who donated the scholarship funds in honor of her daughter.
Tim Noteboom (Professor), Kyra, Peggy Notiaranni (Scholarship Donor), Ben, Katie
Congrats you guys on your hard work!

Denver Children's Museum

The first Tuesday of every month is Target Tuesday at the Denver Children's Museum. We try to go once a year. The girls have an absolute blast, amidst the chaos :)
