Hello all my wonderful friends out there. I am in charge of sharing time for Father's day and I DESPERATELY need some good ideas of what the kids can do to give their dads. We did paper flowers for the moms and they turned out cute, but I'm drawing a blank on dads. So please, comment and list all the great FREE or super cheap ideas you know for a primary sharing time!

The only thing I can think of is maybe something with ties? They are totally cliche father's day, so maybe you let the kids decorate paper ties or something? I don't know, I'm glad I don't have to be in charge of that! But I can ask my friend who is, to see if she has any ideas!

I don't know if this would work...but...yeah it probably would!!! When I was little We made soap on a rope - so silly, I know!! but we colored a picture and then pasted it on a soap and ran a piece of yarn through a pre-cut hole in the soap.
the reason i even remember this is that year later I was looking for socks or something and i came across it in my dad's sock drawer. He kept it all those years. It meant a LOT to see it still there...
sniff...that's all.
We gave out Dad's rootbeer and had the kids make neckties out of chipboard and put a "Hunk" Bar on top of the neckties for a gift. It's food and guys love it! Call me if this sounds confusing!
I just read the free part :) The ties could be free-ish with your craft supply. Also, John just said he loves it when they decorate those paper ties, so there you go. Paper ties is our vote! This just came to me --you could even make it a coupon tie, (have them attach coupons to the back and make dotted lines to cut off each coupon) for chores and things to do together (you could print off different ones and they could choose or let the older ones write them like go to bed on time, back rub, play together, etc.) That could be way fun and then the dads don't have to feel bad about not keeping the tie forever--not that they would!
