Having Fun with Crafty Blogs!

Here's my little cheeseball modeling my latest creation from blogland! Isn't she silly?

This is one of those famous "Men's shirt to Toddler dress" redos! However, I actually used a boy's size 8/10 and it worked great! Got it for free at a yard sale and figured it be a perfect practice piece in case I messed up, but it came out pretty darn cute if I say so myself!
(LOVE her "model" pose here... she's actually quite involved in a football game- my child... shocking I know!)
Here's the link to the genius lady who came up with this idea! I changed the straps slightly.
So fun to do! I really recommend trying it!

We should definitely get together and have a craft day with the other girls when things get better for you, after the baby is born, and when the holidays are over. I love projects, I just haven't been able to stick with anything for a while. It would be nice to get something done while hanging out with the girls.

So for Christmas we have Jeff, Jacob, Caden, Lexy and Arianne. I wanted to learn how to make a tie, so I thought I would do that for Jeff with a cute pillow case that has the kids' hand prints on it. I am stumped on what to do for Jacob as of yet. I was thinking of making a mini apron for Lexy, not sure what to do for Caden.

Brook is so cute. You are going to have to watch out for that one as she gets older. She's going to have boys chasing her all over the place.

That is really cute!! I'm in awe of your talents. So when our kids finally come you get to sew for them, and I'll bake for yours... Deal?! LOL
