Ben and I were in charge of our wards campout this year and it was intense!!! But so much fun! Here are a few pics of what we did.

First off, Ellie had to get the sunscreen mohawk... what campout is complete without it?!?!

Here's Ben and our newly found relative setting up our tent (amazing grass huh!!)
Apparently, Brother Waite in our ward is my sister's husband's father's cousin! Who knew???

Ahh, the mess hall. I should have taken a pic of the food- the day before, Ben and I whipped up two huge roasting pans full of pulled pork and bbq beef to the tune of 40 lbs of meat! It was a lot of meat, but it turned out delicious!

The campground we went to is called HyCliffs. It's owned by the church and it is AWESOME.
Here's Stacy and Cousin Sarah rockin the water slide with Ellie

Ben doing what Ben loves... a little fly fishin. He caught one brown trout, but I didn't get a picture.

Mmmmm... Watermelon...

Here I am from Ellie's perspective blowing up a kickball for some soccer

Oh that Ellie girl... what a smile!

After the last car pulled away, I just couldn't take it anymore- I had to go on the waterslide! But being the lazy girl I am, I didn't want to change into my suit, so I borrowed Ben's PJ shorts and down we went!!

Don't try this at home... Stacy ended up with a bruised shin when I nailed her on my way down!

After the campout.... we were so exhausted!

We had so much fun. We did a relay race, played soccer, horseshoes, and volleyball, did crafts, had a wonderful fireside, sang camp songs, ate great food and enjoyed better company!
Can't wait for next year!

That is so fun! Looks like you guys pulled it off great! I have a hard enough time planning a ward activity for 2 hours....let alone 2 days!
Dude we totally have to go there for the next camping reunion!
