You do not want to know what this is.....
As best we can tell, she was sitting on a chair and started falling off and tried to catch herself. Ripped the poor little nail clean off. She was so tough! She only cried for about 45 seconds and then she let us bandage it and re-bandage it after her bath without even crying! The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach! Poor little girl!

OH BABY! That fall had some major velocity to it to tear it clean off. Poor thing, what a tough cookie. We had an owie last week, Juliana was dancing and got a little crazy, lost her feet underneath her and landed chin down on the concrete. It burst from under her chin through to the inside of her mouth, her tooth pierced thru her tongue and crushed two molars. Anesthesia, x-rays and 10 stitches later she is fine and talking about the tooth fairy and will she know to get the tooth from the dr. since it won't be at her house....its SO SCARY anytime there is blood involved. (apparently mouths bleed an INSANE amount!)..Anyway, Glad Ellie is okay. love you!!
OOOOOHHHHH Ouch! Poor girl. Hope it heals ok.
