Today I am better- Hooray! And I had two projects to do today, so I got started right away! The laundry room was the first to get a go... and as soon as I started, I remembered why I have left it in present condition for so long... yeah. Really not fun. So halfway through I took a break... and haven't gone back. I decided to tackle yesterday's project, the ruffle cardigan- So fun! I just love ruffles!!
I started with this cream cardy from my dear big sis, Jen. I picked up a 1/2 yard of close colored knit from Joanns at 50%.
(TOO much fabric if your sweater is already split up the middle)
Here's how she turned out! Don't mind my double chin here... gross!
I had the buttons on hand, probably from something I dismembered earlier this year. I think they look really cute!
Little fake pockets! I think they make it look so fancy :)
I think this is what I will do to ALL my cardigans from here on out! They are so nice to have for shoulder cover, but they usually look funny whether they are unbuttoned or buttoned up. This totally solves that problem! I recommend!
Tea Rose Home's instructions were great!
